New York-based Global Finance magazine named OTP Bank Hungary's best bank in 2021, according to a press release sent to the Budapest Business Journal.
The magazine evaluates the world's best banks and financial services providers based on strict professional criteria.
The 28th edition of its list of the best banks around the globe also featured two of OTP's subsidiaries in the CEE region. Both CKB Bank in Montenegro and SKB Bank in Slovenia were named the best in their country by Global Finance.
OTP Bank and its subsidiary banks have received numerous national and international awards in recent years. The Budapest-based credit institution, now a leading player in the Central and Eastern European region, serves more than 19 million customers in 11 countries.
