Number of Hungarians to receive tax refunds on the decline
The number of Hungarians who have received personal income tax refunds has been on the decline, reducing to almost half over the past several years, Hungarian daily Magyar Nemzet reported today.
National Tax and Customs Authority (NAV) spokesperson Péter András Kis said that last year fewer than 1.1 million Hungarians received tax refunds, down from almost 2 million in 2012. The amount of refunds was also halved, falling to 37.9 bln last year.
