MBH Bank to Acquire Duna Takarék Bank

MBH Bank has signed a contract on the acquisition of a 98.46% stake in Duna Takarek Bank, Hungary's second-biggest commercial lender said on Monday, according to a report by state news wire MTI.

The transaction must still get regulatory approval.

MBH Bank said in May that it was in talks to acquire a controlling stake in Duna Takarék Bank

Duna Takarék Bank had total assets of HUF 128.3 billion at the end of 2022, public records show.
