DO NOT USE, TOO SMALL

A week ahead of the submission of the 2015 budget to the Fiscal Council, portfolio.hu      summarized what has been leaked so far about the draft proposal of the Economics Ministry.

The summary includes the following: family benefits after two children may double; banking sector tax (or bank tax) may change, along with the tax on banking transactions as Economics Minister Mihály Varga hinted about the necessity to boost lending; advertising tax policy will be revised; the car assembly sector may get the benefit of a flat 10% corporate tax; the defense budget will have to grow due to NATO obligations; in principle, the redistribution rate decrease pace shall be in line with the convergence program targets – 45% by 2017.
