Lawmakers Approve No-fee Cashback Service

MPs on Wednesday voted to give banking clients the chance to avail of cashback service, free of charge, up to HUF 40,000 a month, according to a report by state news wire MTI.
The legislation was approved with a vote of 129 for, 25 against and 25 abstentions.
The no-fee cashback service is in addition to the HUF 150,000 of ATM withdrawals clients of Hungarian banks are entitled to make free of charge each month.
