As a result of cooperation with municipalities and other organizations, Euronet will launch additional ATMs in the coming months, said Richárd Frank, CEO of Euronet Hungary, according to business daily Világgazdaság.

In a company announcement, Frank pointed out that with the spread of digitalization and online banking, there are fewer and fewer bank branches and ATMs, but cash is still an essential part of our lives.

Last year, according to central bank data, 77% of the total value of purchases was made in cash. In addition to HUF, euros can also be withdrawn from ATMs based on the type of card.
