EBRD Lending EUR 9 mln to Bosnia's Raiffeisen Bank in SME Support
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development said it is providing a EUR 9 million loan to Bosnia and Herzegovina's Raiffeisen Bank BiH to back local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The funding will go to SMEs for investments in new equipment and upgrades aimed at increasing the companies' productivity, lowering their operational costs, as well as introducing EU standards, the EBRD said in a press release.
The borrowers will also benefit from grant incentives worth up to 15% of the total loan amount, funded by the EU. The EBRD is providing the loan under the Go Digital in Bosnia and Herzegovina program, which is funded by the bank and EU.
