Deloitte Hungary welcomes new leadership partner

Deloitteʼs Tax and Legal services leadership team in Hungary welcomed Péter Gerendási on September 1, 2015, according to an announcement issued today. Gerendási decades of experience will serve to strengthen the international advisory firmʼs Budapest practice.

The professional has thirty years of experience in tax advisory, including twenty years as a tax partner, serving as the partner in charge of the tax and legal department of PWC Hungary for six years and later as the Managing Partner (Tax & Legal services) for the Central and Eastern European region. Most recently he served as the CEO of PWC in Russia and was later responsible for managing the Asia practice for PWC Australia.

He has broad experience in international tax, M&A, cross-border investments and restructuring. Through hiring Péter Gerendási, Deloitteʼs goal is to expand and strengthen its tax and legal service line both in Hungary and regionally.
