Companies Net Borrowers in July

Non-financial companies borrowed net HUF 165 billion from local lenders in July, news agency MTI reports, citing monthly data released by the National Bank of Hungary (MNB) on Thursday.

Corporate lending stock, including subscriptions of corporate bonds, stood at HUF 13.555 trillion at the end of the month.

Companies made net deposits of HUF 460 bln on their accounts at local banks in July.

Corporate deposit stock rose to HUF 14.938 tln at the end of the month, according to the report.
