Companies Make Net Repayments on Credit in April

Non-financial companies repaid net HUF 14 billion of loans to local lenders in April, monthly data released by the National Bank of Hungary (MNB) on Friday show, according to a report by state news wire MTI.

Companies also repaid HUF 68 bln of corporate bonds during the month.

Corporate lending stock, including subscriptions of corporate bonds, stood at HUF 13.019 tln at the end of April.

Companies made net withdrawals of HUF 7 bln in April. Corporate deposit stock slipped to HUF 14.586 tln at the end of the month.
