Bulgaria's non-govt deposit growth slows in Sept

The deposits of Bulgaria's non-government sector increased by 11.8% year-on-year in September, reaching BGN 100.3 billion (EUR 51.3 billion), after growing by an annual 12% in August, the central bank said on Tuesday.

The deposits of households increased by 10.9% year-on-year in September, reaching BGN 64.5 billion.

Meantime, loans to Bulgaria's non-government sector increased an annual 7.6% in September, reaching BGN 69.2 billion (EUR 34.9 billion), following an annual rise of 7.5% in August.

Loans to households rose 11.8% yr/yr to BGN 28.1 billion at the end of September, the bank said
