Bulgaria's non-govt deposit growth slows down in July

The deposits of Bulgaria's non-government sector increased by 11.8% year-on-year in July, reaching BGN 98.2 billion (EUR 50.2 billion), after growing by an annual 12.1% in June, the central bank said on Tuesday.

The deposits of households increased by 11.2% on year in July, reaching BGN 63.9 billion.

Loans to Bulgaria's non-government sector increased by 7.2% annually at the end of July, reaching BGN 68.1 billion (EUR 34.8 billion), following an annual rise of 6.4% in June, the bank also said.

Loans to households rose by 10.8% on year to BGN 27.4 billion, while loans to financial corporations totaled BGN 4.7 billion, up 7.2% on the year.
