In a drive to meet growing demand and higher quality standards, packaging company Szenna Pack Kft will embark on a Ft 2 billion-plus capacity boosting investment, managing director János Bierer told daily Napi Gazdaság. As part of the project, Szenna will install a new fully-automated assembly line by mid-2006, which will come on stream in the second half of the year. Thanks to the investment, the company expects to make 60 million aerosol cans and double its sales next year. Bierer said Szenna is also stepping up its environmental investments, which will include a new waste water treatment facility.
