Suez to develop Hungarian activities

France’s water utility major Suez group has announced large-scale investments in Hungary, orchestrated through subsidiaries.
French water utility giant Suez group is extending its activities in Hungary, said László Gesztesi managing director of Aquainvest Kft, Hungarian subsidiary of Suez group. The newly established companies include Alisca-Aqua Zrt, on the one hand, specializing in creating a new drinking water depository for the town of Szekszárd (southern Hungary), and a high capacity mineral water bottling factory. The investments near Szekszárd are estimated to total at over Ft 1 billion ($5.8 million). The second subsidiary of Aquainvest, Délkomp Kft is constructing a bio gas power plant through an over Ft 1 billion investment. The third subsidiary of Aquainvest, Aqua-ÉpSzer is specializing in technological services and construction. (NG)
