State awards over Ft 1 bln for construction of biogas plants

The state awards development subsidies of more than Ft 1 billion ($6 million) for the construction of two biogas plants in southwest Hungary, Sándor Baranyai, who heads the farm ministry’s local office, said on Thursday.
A biogas plant in Kutas (Southwest-Hungary) will be awarded a Ft 445 million subsidy and a plant in Nagyatád will get Ft 750 million. The plants will cost altogether Ft 2 billion. (MTI-Econews)
