Sevan says started oil production on Chestnut field

Norway's Sevan Marine has started oil production on Venture Production's Chestnut field in the British part of the North Sea, it said on Monday.
Sevan's FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) vessel will be working under a 2-1/2 plus two-year charter contract.
The FPSO has an oil storage capacity of 300,000 barrels and is equipped with an oil processing capacity of 30,000 barrels per day and a water injection capacity of 20,000 barrels per day, Sevan said in a statement. (Reuters)
