Waste-processing company SCH-Ozon has begun construction of a HUF 180m paper-processing plant in Maglód, just east of Budapest, the business daily Világgazdaság reported on Wednesday.
The company received HUF 62 million in European Union support for the investment.
SCH-Ozon expects to complete the 1,000-square-meter plant in December. Operation of the new plant will increase the company's annual waste-paper processing capacity by 50% to 120,000 tons per year.
