RR Donnelley building EUR 1.5m expansion at printing plant in Hungary
US-based RR Donnelley on Monday held the topping-out ceremony for a €1.5m expansion at its printing plant in Debrecen.
RR Donnelley is building a new 2,100sqm warehouse at the plant and installing new production technology in the old warehouse, said plant director Colin Fletcher.
The expansion will create a hundred jobs at the plant, bringing headcount to 400, Debrecen mayor Lajos Kosa said.
Istvan Herdon, director of XANGA, which operates the industrial park in Debrecen where RR Donnelley has its plant, said the area of the industrial park would grow to 100 hectares by the end of 2011 as the result of HUF 1bn of investments.
