Rossi inaugurates HUF 45 mln expansion

Rossi Biofuel has inaugurated a EUR 45 million expansion at its biofuel refinery at Hungarian oil and gas company MOL's base in Komárom (85 km northeast of Budapest), MOL said on Friday, according to autopro.hu.

The expansion will add another 50,000 tonnes to Rossi Biofuel's existing capacity to turn out an annual 180,000 tonnes of biofuel from vegetable oil and used cooking oil.

Rossi Biofuel owner Envien Group holds a 75% stake in the new capacity and MOL owns 25%.

Rossi Biofuel had net sales revenue of EUR 143 mln in 2020, including EUR 63.4 mln from exports.
