Rosatom marketing unit opens office in Hungary

Rosatom Overseas, the marketing unit of Russia's state atomic energy company Rosatom, has opened an office in Hungary, Rosatom said on Wednesday. Zalan Bacs, a chemical engineer who has worked for Hungarian oil and gas company MOL and its units, and was most recently deputy-CEO for strategy at the state-owned Hungarian Electricity Works (MVM), will head the office. Rosatom is likely one of five companies with whom Hungary's government is in talks on the planned expansion of the country's sole nuclear power plant.
