Robotersysteme AG moves more production to Győr

Austrian welding robot producer Robotersysteme AG will start a Ft 400 million development program in its Győr plant and plans to move the company’s total production capacity to Hungary, managing director of igm Robotrendszerek Kft Béla Fenyősi said. In 2002, the new assembly centre in Győr, was opened in the industrial park. On approximately 1500 square meters, robot installations are completely assembled and put into operation. The Austrian company will double its production area in Győr industrial park. Half of the development will go for new technology, while the other half for new facilities, Fenyősi said. The net revenue of the Hungarian subsidiary is expected to reach Ft 4.5 billion this year and this sum may double in the coming years, Fenyősi said. igm exports worldwide systems for the truck industry, the production of excavators, railway construction, manufacture of boilers, and for shipbuilding, representing the basis of production for many well-known manufacturers.
