The Ft 1,2 billion investment is to be realized on an area of 4,5 hectares bought from the town municipality, said Recycling Technologies Kft’s (RecTec) managing director, Péter Kernács. According to plans, the plant will start operations in spring 2007. Some 10,000 vehicles are to be processed in the plant annually. Harmful substances, metal and textile parts will be removed from each vehicle and then be recycled as raw material. The company and the city of Vasvár made an agreement, that if the company employs 50 workers for more than a year, the price of the land would be Ft 25 million plus VAT. If the number of the employed workers exceed 80 persons the land would cost only a symbolic Ft 10.000 plus VAT. (Napi Gazdaság, vasvar.hu)
