Power outage briefly halts TVK production

A brief power outage in Hungary's 120 kV electrical grid forced petrochemical company TVK, a unit of Hungarian oil and gas company MOL, to shut down production at all its production facilities on Monday, TVK reported.
The statement, published late Monday afternoon, said the safety restart of the plants was in progress.
State news wire agency MTI learnt on Monday evening that the power outage had caused TVK, based in Tiszaújváros (NE Hungary), to suspend production for a period of several hours.
