Hungarian poultry processing company Pannon Fine Food wound up a HUF 1.6 bln upgrade at its duck and goose plant in Orosháza in south-eastern Hungary, Hungarian business daily Napi Gazdaság reported today.

The new plant unit is scheduled to begin operations in December, following a test phase, managing director Tibor Jantyik told the paper. The production is expected to reach full capacity by the end of 2015, and number of employees would increase from 80 to 240 as a result, the director added.

Pannon Fine Food acquired the plant, which includes the new unit, in a liquidation sale.
