Paks electricity output edges down in 2011

Hungary’s Paks Nuclear Power Plant generated 15,685 GWh of electricity in 2011, just under a record set in the previous year, chairman Csaba Baji said at a press conference on Monday.

Paks generated a little more than 43% of all electricity in Hungary last year, a bigger share than in 2010.

Paks’s revenue from electricity sales edged up 3.8% to HUF 171.5bn in 2011.
