Motivating Graphics establishes $8m base in Hungary

Texas-based product packaging maker Motivating Graphics is spending more than $8m to outfit a plant at a property it is renting in Komarom (NW Hungary), managing director of the company’s Hungarian unit Ray Christopher Clark said at a press conference on Wednesday.
The plant is Motivating Graphics’ first base in Europe: it will supply markets in Denmark, Germany, Romania, Slovakia and Sweden, Mr Clark said.
Motivating Graphics makes packaging for electronics products made by Motorola, RIM, Samsung and ZTE.
The family-owned Motivating Graphics employs more than 1,000 people at its bases in the US, Mexico, Argentina and Malaysia. It has annual turnover of $200m.
