Mivisa Hungary to open tin-can plant in Northern Hungary

Mivisa Hungary, the Hungarian unit of Spanish market leader tin-can manufacturer Mivisa Envases, is building a new tin-can plant in the industrial park near the city of Tatabánya (N Hungary), local mayors announced on Thursday.
Tatabánya Mayor Csaba Schmidt said that company would manufacture 1m tin cans annually at the plant following its planned opening in January 2012.
Mivisia Hungary, which already operates a factory in Debrecen (E Hungary), plans to employ 40 workers at the plant.
