Lekkerland wins contract to supply Lukoil petrol stations in Hungary

The Hungarian unit of German food and soft drink distributor Lekkerland has won a contract to supply Lukoil's petrol stations in Hungary, the company announced on Wednesday.

Lekkerland started supplying the 41 Lukoil stations on July 1. Lekkerland announced earlier it had won contracts to supply Jet and OMV petrol stations in Hungary. The new contracts will generate €4 million in revenue yet this year, Lekkerland said. Lekkerland's Hungarian unit supplies 1,600 customers and employs 100 people. The unit had turnover of €13 million in 2005.
Lukoil opened its first petrol stations in Hungary in 2004, and it said in March this year it planned to open another 100-120 petrol stations in Hungary in the following three years to give it a 10% share of the retail petrol market.
