Leier Hungaria Kft, the Hungarian unit of construction materials manufacturer Leier International, will open a plant in the city of Győr (NW Hungary) this year, the company's ninth, Leier Hungaria CEO Andor Komlos told MTI on Wednesday.

Komlos said that Leier Hungaria would hire 20 workers as a result of the brownfield investment.

They also invest HUF 500m into a new production line at an existing brick plant in Devecser. Komlos noted that the unit has spent HUF 30 billion on development of its eight current plants over the past ten years.

Leier Hungaria posted after-tax profit of HUF 400m on revenue of HUF 16 billion in 2010.
