Karsai Holding targets 10% revenue increase in 2006

Karsai Holding Rt, a packaging technology and auto parts company, targets revenue of Ft 9.2 billion in 2006, 10% more than in 2005, Béla Karsai, the company's owner, announced.
The company expects unconsolidated after-tax profits in 2006 of slightly less than last year's Ft 329 million, Karsai said. Revenue will be boosted in part by a new production facility in Tiszaújváros, northeast Hungary. The facility, which Karsai Holding purchased from peer Loranger Kft, is the company's eighth unit.
In addition to its holdings in Hungary, the company also has units in Romania and Serbia, and sells its products in 22 foreign countries. Karsai Holding employs 880 people, including 127 it took over from Loranger.
