Housings plant to be built in Slovakia

South Korean’s Daidong Electronics is to build an injection molding plant in Nitra / Slovakia, due to go on stream in June 2008.

The facility will manufacture housings for LCD televisions for electronics multinational Sony, which also has a site in Nitra. The company will invest a total of €10 million in the unit, half of which is earmarked for the building with the majority of the remainder for machines and other equipment. Around 80 to 100 new jobs will be created at the plant. (plasteurope.com)
