Győr to build HUF 2.5 bln biomass-fueled heating plant

The municipal services company of Győr has established a joint venture to build a HUF 2.5 billion biomass-fueled heating plant, regional daily Kisalföld said on Tuesday. The plant, with combined capacity of 13MW, will be fueled with wood chips and straw, replacing 6.9 million cubic metres of gas the city uses to heat at present.
