Global Web Solutions (GWS), the Hungarian-owned operator of crowdsourcing platform Talentuno, said on Thursday that it has received a EUR 4 million investment from Hiventures, the venture capital fund manager of the Hungarian Development Bank (MFB) and VC fund Bonitas.

Péter Balázsik, co-founder and executive manager of GWS, said the investment is for helping the Hungarian and international expansion of Talentuno, according to a report by state news wire MTI. The Talentuno application allows users to act as HR head-hunters and recommend people for openings at firms using the platform.

Co-founder Zsolt Kelliar said the company will use the funds to raise the number of firms using Talentuno from 100 to 600, and the number of registered users making recommendations from 6,000 to 20,000.

Global Web Solutions had HUF 60 mln revenue in 2017, tripling to HUF 180 mln in 2018 in Hungary, said Balázsik.
