Finnish machinery maker to build plant employing 400 in Miskolc

A Finnish machinery maker has bought a 24-hectare plot in Miskolc's Mechatronics Park (NE Hungary) in oredr to build a plant there.
The Finnish firm will employ about 400 people, regional daily Észak-Magyarország learned, citing a source at city hall.
The paper did not name the company, but said it is one of Europe's leading machinery makers and also makes components for building construction.
The city council recently discussed the possible investment behind closed doors but will soon announce details, the paper said.
