Emerson Process Management's Hungarian unit launches new express delivery and replacement service

The Hungarian unit of Emerson Process Management, a global supplier of process-related operation industrial products, on Wednesday officially launched a new Quick Ship service at its plant in Szekesfehervar (C Hungary) that is expected to generate annual revenue of HUF 2bn-HUF 3bn and profit of HUF 105m-200m after it begins operating at full capacity.

The branch will provide fast delivery and replacement of products and spare parts for control values used in the energy industry.

Unit CEO Ferenc Mátrai said that the company had hired 30 new workers as a result of the launching of the Quick Ship service, bringing the total number of workers the unit employs to around 400.

Emerson Process Management's Hungarian unit posted profit of HUF 650m-HUF 700m on revenue of HUF 14bn in its most recent financial year.
