Electroplast completes more than HUF 800 mln expansion in Hungary

Austria's Electroplast has completed an HUF 816 million expansion of injection moulding capacity at its plant in Békéscsaba, the company said. Electroplast's Hungarian unit boosted capacity to supply German household products maker Henkel's plant in nearby Körösladány. It supplies the Austrian parent company too. The unit won a HUF 187 million workplace creation grant to support the investment. Headcount rose to 29 as a result. This year, the unit is expected to generate revenue of HUF 1.5 billion – HUF 2 billion, up from HUF 1.1 billion last year.
