Diebold to move production to Hungary
US-based Diebold, Inc., the world's biggest maker of automatic teller machines (ATM), plans to move production from its base in Cassis, France, to Hungary, because of lower costs, business daily Világgazdaság reported on Thursday, citing French daily La Tribune.
Diebold is already leasing a 9,000 square meter logistics base just outside of Budapest, and it plans to start production this autumn, according to the report. The plant in Cassis employed 135 workers.
