German carmaker Daimler will soon add serial production of another model at its plant in the Hungarian city of Kecskemét, business daily Napi Gazdaság said on Tuesday.

The CLA coupe will be in showrooms in April, the paper said. Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Hungary managing director Frank Klein told MTI last May that the plant would start making the CLA coupes at the beginning of 2013. Daimler inaugurated the €800 million plant in Kecskemét last March. It now makes next-generation compact models.
