Terminating the plant near Budapest will entail laying off more than one hundred staff, local labor office director Etelka Romanek told newsire MTI. Colgate-Palmolive announced already last summer that it would shut down the plant, which earlier made the Fabulon line of cosmetics and other products. The company announced in March that it would close its plant in Brasov, Romania, and move production to its unit in Poland.
