Car safety firm 'invests in Romania'
An automotive company has stated that it is looking to invest a further €4.6 million (£3.0 million, $6.3 million) into the western area of Romania, according to reports.
TRW Automotive Safety Systems said that it wishes to invest the money and rent a chosen venue in order to increase the level of business, reports zf.ro. Already the firm has looked at a number of suitable sites, something that may be of interest to other potential property investors, regardless of location in the country. Financial manager at Automotive Safety Systems Elena Sere outlined the relevant proposals.
“The new plants will not be green field investments, instead we intend to rent the necessary space for production. The expansion of our production facilities is part of a development strategy for our Romanian subsidiary,” she commented. It produces safety systems and seat belts, the paper stated.
