Cadence to build auto parts plant in Esztergom

Czech Cadence Innovative, the owner of Plastimat Magyarország Kft, will set up a new factory in the Esztergom industrial park, business daily Napi Gazdaság reported.

The company produces cockpits, painted plastic bumpers, and other plastic parts for Skoda, Audi, and Suzuki. The aim of the decision is to settle the plant producing for Magyar Suzuki Rt right next to the car factory. Plastimat paid Ft 150 million for the 3.8 hectares area of the industrial park; the building of the factory will cost Ft 2.5 billion. The production will be started by the end of the year, the plant will employ about 100 people. The 8,000 sq.m. workshop will be extended further later.
