Bakonyerdo starts new production line at parquet plant

Bakonyerdo on Friday unveiled a production line that is part of a HUF 735m investment at its parquet plant in Tapolca (NW Hungary).

The company won a HUF 280m European Union grant for the investments, which is to finish by June 2013.

The parquet plant expected to generate revenue of HUF 2.8bn this year. Next year, turnover is expected to climb over HUF 3bn.

About 80% of the plant’s output is exported.
