Audi’s Hungarian plant puts out 2 million engines in 2015

The Hungarian plant of German car manufacturer Audi turned out more than two million engines at its base in Győr in 2015, approximately 50,000 more than in the preceding year, managers of Audi Hungaria Motor confirmed at corporate headquarters in Ingolstadt, Hungarian news agency MTI reported today.

More than 160,000 cars rolled out of the Hungarian Audi plant last year, approximately 25,000 more than in the year before, MTI reported. Audi Hungariaʼs revenue was up €675 million, to €7.9 billion, managing director Peter Kossler said, according to MTI.

Audi Hungaria originally made the announcement on January 13, however, confirmed its statement at corporate headquarters in Ingolstadt this week.
