Alcufer to build automobile salvage yard

Hungarian waste-management company Alcufer will build a Ft 2 billion (€8.11 million) auto salvage yard near in SW Hungary.

Alcufer's 600-square-meter salvage yard will be capable of processing 500 vehicles per year, making it one of the largest such facilities in Hungary. A portion of the recyclable materials derived from the yard's operations will be processed at the site as well, the ) the business daily Napi Gazdaság reported.

Project manager Ernő Horváth told a regional newspaper that Nagykanizsa's strategic location and infrastructure made it the obvious choice for the site of the yard. (MTI – Econews)
