Varga to propose NAV changes by March 31
Hungary’s National Economy Minister Mihály Varga will be required to submit a proposal on the new organizational structure of the country’s National Tax and Customs Authority NAV by March 31, according to a resolution published in official gazette Magyar Közlöny, Hungarian news agency MTI reported this morning.
The proposal must be in harmony with organizational changes, such as the merging of separate tax and customs units, approved recently, and taking effect on January 1, the resolution says. The possible introduction of career path models also needs to be examined by the minister, the resolution adds.
