Raba receives order from Norway for newly developed S91 midibus
Hungarian vehicle and vehicle-parts company Raba has received an order from Norway for its newly developed S91 midibus, the company reported on Tuesday. Raba did not reveal the number of buses ordered or the value of the order.
Raba added that the Budapest public-transport company BKV has successfully completed a second successful six-week trial run of the S91 midibus.
Raba had originally developed the S91 buses along with Molitus Kft and Webasto Hungaria Kft for the Hungarian market. More than two hundred of the first generation of Raba midibuses currently operate in several countries in Europe, including Norway, the Czech Republic, Greece, Lithuania and Iceland, the company noted. The midibus is a classification of single-decker bus that is generally larger than a traditional minibus, but smaller than a full-size single-decker bus.
Raba is an A-category issuer at the Budapest Stock Exchange
