NIF issues tender for renovation of Szolnok railway station and section of track

Hungary’s National Infrastructure Development company (NIF) has issued a tender for the renovation of the railway station in Szolnok (C Hungary) and a short section of track from the city to the nearby village of Szajol, NIF announced on Wednesday.

The deadline for submission of bids in the tender is January 19, 2012. The winner of the tender is expected to be announced on February 9, 2012.

The renovation of an unspecified value will be completed with European Union funding disbursed through the New Szechenyi Plan and with co-financing from the Transportation Operative Program.
