The bank received the prize for its contribution to improving the financial understanding of Hungarians, the association said, according to MTI.

A program launched by MKB Bank in 2015 to match volunteers from its staff with educators to teach school children the basics of banking and finance, reached approximately 90,000 pupils in 660 schools over the year, MTI reported. MKB Bank expects this number to climb to over 100,000 this year.
