Minister blames Hungary’s economic performance for lack of resources

It would take a miracle to be able to spend millions of state budget forints for a doctors‘ wage hike, Minister for Human Resources Miklós Réthelyi said on Friday at television channel HírTV.
Sectors under the charge of the ministry can only rely on the extra sources generated by the planned reforms that soon will be on the government’s agenda and cover the restructuring of both the education and the healthcare systems, Réthelyi said. The minister attributed the lack of currently available sources to Hungary’s economic performance in the past months.
