Liget Project welcomes two top finishers
The plans of two separate designers Snøhetta and Sanaa (Sejima and Nishizawa and Associates), both Pritzker prize awarded firms, were selected in The Liget Budapest Project and their proposals will be further evaluated, the organizers announced yesterday in a press release.
The Liget Budapest Project is an international design competition for the design of the building of the new National Gallery and the Ludwig Museum.
The second place was shared by two entries: the plans of Nieto Sobejano Arquitectos S.L.P. and the joint entry of Balázs Mihály Építész Műterme and the Faculty of Architecture of Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
